Dubai Safari Park to open for public visit in January 2018

The Dubai Municipality has soft launched the Dubai Safari Park today, and it will be open for public visit from January 2018.

The Director of Leisure Facilities Department, Khaled Al Suwaidi, in their press release mentioned that work hours of Safari will be from 9am to 5pm.

The Dubai Safari Park completely depends on solar power for its energy needs. It is one of the outstanding eco-friendly projects implemented by the Municipality. The project is expected to be a landmark tourist destination in the emirate once the project aims to create the best habitat for the wildlife in the world.

The park is likely to house about 2500 to 3000 animals and various entertainment programmes and games will also be part of phase one of this Dh.1bn project.

The tickets at the Safari park will be priced at Dh.20 to Dh.30 for children and Dhg.50 to Dh.85 for adults, while children below three years of age, adults over 60 years and people of determination will enjoy the visit to the wildlife sanctuary project for free.

Being a service organization that strives to meet the needs of the society as per the objectives and visions and in-line with government’s strategy, the Dubai Municipality mentioned that it has executed Dubai Safari project, based on highest international standards.

The project has been implemented using a building waste dump, and it has been converted into a tourist attraction, with diverse fun environment by exploiting the different terrain on the site, and considering it as a key element in the design of the project.
