The flag-inspired projection can be seen for approximately one minute and ten seconds at 8.25pm . Pictures will be shared on the Canadian Embassy’s social media accounts as well.
Since Dubai is a community of multicultural individuals, Burj Khalifa has always shown support towards different nations. For instance, it lit up to the colors of the Pakistan flag on August 14, India flag on August 15 and even the Philippines flag on June 12.
The Burj Khalifa’s award-winning and record-breaking LED lighting system, the very one which will display the Canada Day design, was also created by Canadians.
More broadly, the Canada Day lighting represents the bond between Canada and the United Arab Emirates as well as the great potential for collaboration between the two inclusive and future-oriented countries.
