The Crown Prince chaired a meeting of Dubai's Higher Committee for Development & Citizens Affairs to further support the development of economic opportunities in the city's neighbourhoods.

Each district will have its own distinctive character and identity, as the design of the first Al Mizhar area was inspired by the Ghaf tree, while the second Al Khawaneej area was inspired by water drops, and the second Al Barsha by sand dunes.

He approved the plans and designs of the three areas, including increasing green and open spaces, enhancing safe communication in those neighbourhoods, as well as beautifying entrances, developing intersections, crossings and streets, developing pedestrian paths, and implementing paving, landscaping and landscaping works according to the highest and latest international standards followed.

The total area of ​​the residential neighbourhoods in the three areas is about 177 million and 712 thousand square feet, with 57 million and 48 thousand square feet in Al Barsha Second, 72 million and 871 thousand square feet in Al Mizhar First, and 47 million and 791 thousand square feet in Al Khawaneej.

The model neighbourhoods will provide investment opportunities for the people of each region, such as establishing restaurants and open markets in the main parks, temporary shops, halls and sports stadiums.
