All that glitters is definitely gold at this Persian restaurant in Dubai, where you can eat gold dishes from their menu.

Located at the historical Radisson Blu Hotel Dubai Deira Creek, the city’s first five-star hotel, Shabestan was built in 1984 and has since been a favourite of many royal families, including Dubai’s very own ruling family.

To celebrate Shabestan’s 37-year anniversary and the upcoming Nowruz, the Iranian New Year on March 20, chef Abol has curated a special menu with the restaurant’s most popular and best-selling dishes of all time. What made this extra luxurious indeed is that each dish from the menu has been infused with 23-carat gold.

From appetizing dishes like Nargesi and Kashke Bademjan to platter full of traditional Persian dishes with juicy sizzling premium meats, all have been sprinkled with 23-carat gold. Not just the starters or main courses, even the desserts, which is a fine mix of French elegance and Persian opulence, is served with gold.

Priced at Dh1,000 per person, the three-course menu is a mixture of luxury dining combined with traditional taste and spices, and perfect for the festivity celebrations.
