Huge yoga festival XYoga returns to Dubai

Conditions are perfect for some outdoors exercise, and one of the biggest sporting and wellness events in the city is returning for its fourth edition later this month, so you can hit the great outdoors while the weather is ideal.

XYoga, a two-day festival of uninterrupted yoga sessions and activities, is returning to Dubai's Kite Beach on Friday February 21 and Saturday 22. Now in its fourth year, XYoga is inviting yogis of all levels and ages to dive into expert-led, quality meditation and spiritual discipline from sunrise to sundown.

It’s the largest festival of its kind in the Middle East, thanks to the 20,000-strong crowd of yoga enthusiasts who are set to take part this year. It will take place on the rolling sands of Kite Beach and the itinerary for the weekend will be jam-packed full with free classes, workshops, meditation and lots more on the agenda. Up to 20,000 yoga enthusiasts are expected to descend on the festival over the two days.


The Art of Living, the organisation that helps people find calm and happiness through yoga, are also set to deliver classes for attendees. Specialist instructors, including Aussie adventurer Sjana Elise,Bollywood actress Esha Gupta and Instagram yoga influencer Jacob Manning are all set to take part, making it one of the biggest line-ups ever for the festival.

There are going to be classes led by live music, there’s going to be acroyoga (which couples acrobatics with yoga in pair work), calisthenics- and martial arts-based yoga classes, multiple stages, a variety of activations, a village featuring local produce supplier Ripe Market, and so much more.
