Aquaventure Water Park launches a world-class expansion

The highly anticipated expansion at Dubai’s Atlantis Aquaventure opened its doors this March. Powered exclusively by ProSlide water rides, this groundbreaking addition to Aquaventure has set the new standard for water parks around the world.

As part of the amazing Atlantis The Palm, Aquaventure is nestled between the majestic Dubai skyline and the turquoise waters of the Arabian Gulf.

The addition is widely regarded as the most ambitious water park expansion in the world, bringing together an unprecedented vision for entertainment and ProSlide’s newest technology.

With 17 high-performance water rides – along with multiple region and world’s firsts – Atlantis has created an incredible experience exclusive to Aquaventure Dubai.

Towering over Aquaventure, the awe-inspiring Trident Tower boasts even more record-holders and “firsts” in the region, including the world’s tallest Double TornadoWAVE called ‘Odyssey of Terror’ and the EMEA’s tallest FreeFALL speed slide, ‘Blackout’.

The attractions in Splasher’s Cove are the perfect introduction for future thrill seekers as they race their friends and family on the world’s first KIDZ RallyRACER. With an abundance of smaller water rides, Splasher’s Cove (and the KIDZ Zone Splashers Lagoon) functions as a water park within a water park and the perfect attraction for kids and families.

This means there are now a splashtastic 105 slides and attractions at Aquaventure.

“Now with 105 slides, attractions and experiences for all ages and thrill levels, the expansion has increased Atlantis Aquaventure by a third in size to feature 79 rides across three towers, 26 marine and watersport experiences and 26 food and beverage outlets and kiosks across the park. We’ve also doubled the length of Aquaventure beach to 1km,” said Tim Kelly, executive vice president and managing director of Atlantis The Palm.
