Spanish ballet icon Lucia Lacarra will head-up an all-star, al fresco dance gala d to be hosted at Desert Palm Hotel and Resort on 26th and 27th of January, 2017.
A cast of acclaimed principle soloists – drawn from London’s Covent Garden Dance Company, English National Ballet, Royal Danish Ballet, Béjart Ballet Lausanne and Strasbourg Ballet– will be united for the performance spectacle. Entitled Ballet Under the Stars, this is held in association with The Covent Garden Dance Company and all eyes will be on Lacarra, (an acclaimed fixture with the Bavarian State Opera Ballet since 2002) . She will be joined onstage by her husband and dance partner, Marlon Dino during this limited edition run at Desert Palm PER AQUUM, as they and the troupe perform classical performances.
Other stars lined-up to appear include Zdenak Konvalina, English National Ballets’ principal from 1998-2015, Ksenia Ovsyanick, a principal with the Staatsburg Ballet, Berlin, Jon Axel Fransson, a soloist with the Royal Danish Ballet, Silvia Selvini from the Royal Danish Ballet, Vitali Safronkine and Iker Murillo from Ballet Bejart and Marsha Rodriguez with Ballet Bejart.
