Join award-winning ‘Comedy Doctor’ Riaad Moosa as he takes center stage at Madinat Theatre. The actor, writer, presenter and – surprisingly – medical doctor has secured his position as one of South Africa’s most beloved comedians, and he’s coming to Dubai determined to leave audiences in stitches.

Riaad is known as the “Comedy Doctor”, for reason being that he is a qualified medical doctor who attained his degree from the University of Cape Town. Riaad received the “Comics Choice Award” at the first Annual South African Comic’s Choice Awards. Riaad also featured on the numerous television and film productions such as “Laugh Out Loud” and the feature film “Outrageous”.He is also a regular presenter on his very own segment of the “Late Nite News with Loyiso Gola” television series, called “The Second Opinion”. He is a writer and performer on SABC’s Pure Monate Show. Riaad portrayed the role of Ahmed Kathrada in the Golden Globe nominated film, “Mandela– Long Walk to Freedom”. His one-man comedy shows are “Strictly Halaal” and “For the Bracka”, were very successful.

Moosa has cultivated a distinct brand with his observational humour that dissects his experiences as a Muslim and the thrills and hazards of fatherhood. His honest and hilarious opinions demonstrate his exceptional talents and introduce spectators to a unique perspective of life.
